A SPECIAL MOMENT WEDDING ceremonies can be performed by Minister Rev. John Veleno or Notary Joyce Veleno

Serving Pinellas and surrounding counties for over 17 years we realize how important your ceremony and other wedding day services are to you and we do our utmost to fulfill your desires.

We present your ceremony in a manner that is 100% delivered to you in a personal manner that is uniquely the best available.  This is the major contributing factor as to why most of our weddings during the past 18 years have come by word of mouth or from people who have attended our wedding ceremonies.   We consider it an honor and a privilege to take such an important role in the lives of every bride and groom and treat it as such.

Standard Vows:  Please repeat after me.  I (groom/bride) take you (bride/groom) - to be my lawful wedded (wife/husband) - to have and to hold - from this day forward - for better for worse - for richer or poorer - in sickness and in health - to love and to cherish - forsaking all others - so long as we both shall live.

Our vows:  We  have personal vows to offer those who have signed up and given us a reservation deposit

To further enhance your wedding ceremony and make it more personal we encourage you to include something delightful to say to each other either before or after your vows by mentioning personal statements and events to each other.  We have no restrictions limitations, nor word limit to say to each other.  But, please keep separate the things you wish to say to each other from your vows section.  No need to email us what you wish to say to each other, but please keep them separate from your vows section.  No need to email us what you wish to say to each other, just your vows section due to the legality of it.

You an write your own vows.  Help in writing your vows can be found in numerous places on the internet.  If you write your own vows they must meet the legal criteria, as it is a lawful matter.  A solemn promise from one person to another without restrictions or limitations by using words such as ; if, or, but, except, unless, etc. and email them to us.  We are not highly critical.

Please email us how many will be in your bridal party, including ring bearer and flower girl, and which parents and grand parents will also be in your processional.  If you have a cell phone we would like to have that number.

Custom built - beach weather resistant - Mobile Self Powered separate music and PA systems using a combination of - 15", 12", 10", 8", 6" 4" and 2" speakers for extreme clear sound without unnecessary volume.  No dangerous exposed speaker wires nor power cables.  Does not take up space in your wedding area nor have to be in your wedding photos or videos.   Has been used for weddings ranging from 2 to 350 attending.

Our professional outdoor music system and separate PA system.   The music system does not play standard CDs nor tapes.  It is a sealed system using sealed read-write discs specially designed to withstand the usual outdoor and beach conditions of sand, salt, sun, wind and humidity.  Both systems assist in overcoming typical outdoor distraction sounds from wind, surf, traffic, planes, etc., thus helping to make your special occasion more enjoyable and private.

We recommend using our PA system for outdoor weddings with 30 or more guests so that everyone can clearly hear your outdoor ceremony and witness your vows over normal existing wind, surf, planes, boats, game playing, people cheering, dogs barking, cannons fired from pirate ships, birds laughing, and other distracting sounds often heard at outdoor locations, all of which can be experienced.

If you desire to have your own music selections please send it to us with a listing about two weeks or so prior to the wedding so that we can be record it on our weather resistant system in advance of the wedding.  There is a $30 charge for recording your  music.  It is recorded  in the order you wish your music to be played.

Rev. Veleno does not read ceremonies and  are approximately 15 minutes not including the processional and recessional.  The following ceremony format applies to Rev. Veleno's ceremonies.

For those who desire to write their own ceremony Notary Joyce Veleno officiates and performs excellent written ceremonies.  Her reading is superbly performed with expertise, emotion, and expression developed through her years of singing experience performed mostly on a weekly basis since childhood.

Readings and/or Vocalists
You may wish to have a Relative or friend who would like to do a scriptural reading, poem, or someone who may wish to sing a song included in the ceremony for the bride and groom.  For those who wish to sing with background music please furnish us with the background music about two weeks prior to the ceremony, and there are those who sing acappela (without background music).

Mixing of Sand vs. Unity Candle With Background music.  The mixing of sand for beach ceremonies was introduced about six years ago to replace the unity candle lighting usually conducted at weddings inside.  It is unusual for candles to stay lit on beaches for more than 5 seconds due to the slight breezes most always present at beaches.

For the Sand Mixing purchase the three containers, one each for the bride and groom, and a center container to pour the sand into representing your joining together as husband and wife.  Special containers for this can be purchased at most stores that provide wedding supplies.  We've seen them in Target stores.  Some places can etch your names and date of marriage on the center container, and your names on the individual containers.  Just be sure that the opening of the center container will accept the simultaneous pouring of sand from the two containers.

Wine cup option
This option can be used to represent the couple's sharing their future together.

Family Unity (for including Children who reside with the bride and groom)
Children of the bride and/or groom can be included in a "Family unity portion of the ceremony" and a family medallion or ring can be presented to them at that time, but is not necessary.  The main purpose of this is to offer children the feeling of being included in the new family.

Glass Breaking
A traditional glass breaking segment near the closing can be included.

YOUR MINISTER
In 1980 Rev. Veleno began his studies in the non-denominational Church of Gospel Ministry.  He was ordained for ministry in 1984.  In 1990, recognizing the need for wedding ceremonies to be performed at park, beach, and home locations Rev. Veleno and Joyce Veleno began performing location weddings with ceremonies acceptable to all - Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists and other groups.

Following is a recent email from one of those couples with approximately 100 guests in attendance:

Rev. Veleno,

James and I just want to thank you so much for marrying us 2 weeks ago on the beach. Every guest commented on how beautiful the ceremony was.  We loved it and will never forget the feeling of becoming husband and wife out in the elements, with your prayers and blessings. Coming from different religious backgrounds, this was the perfect ceremony for us and our families.

Thank you so much and best wishes for you and your family.
Niki and James
