A SPECIAL MOMENT WEDDING has found the following occurrences on wedding days
Tip #1: Tip #1: This is extremely important: Bring your marriage license, your officiant will need to have your marriage license before your ceremony starts. It is a lawful permit to get married in the same way a Driver's License is a lawful permit to drive. We have experienced couples who very sweetly promised to present their marriage license immediately following the ceremony who never had one nor ever applied for one, and their guests were unaware as well. Traditionally the Maid/Matron of Honor, Best Man, or one of the parents usually delivers it to the minister before the ceremony.
Tip #2: Bring your wedding rings
Tip #3: For your guests, schedule your ceremony 15 minutes prior to the actual time scheduled with your minister. Some of the guests usually arrive late. When weddings commence at a specified time, some guests will enter while the wedding party is in processional and some arrive during the wedding ceremony. Rev. Veleno takes pride and considers it a privilege to be involved in one of the most important days in the lives of brides and grooms. It is very important to have your invited guests present when your processional starts. Most ministers are involved with many other activities scheduled in their daily lives, including such things as appointments, nursing home, and hospital visits. Please be considerate toward others being served.
To ease your mind for your wedding day, you can assign someone to help in these tips.
Tip #5: Aside from our wedding party, is it okay to have other people in your ceremony photos during your ceremony? Find out this information early enough. Assign someone to notify those who could be in your photos.
Tip #6: Check to find out what songs will be playing for your ceremony. If you don't select us at least look at Rev. Veleno's Ceremony to get an idea of what songs are traditionally played.
Tip #7: If you plan to have your wedding on a public beach or park and you plan to put up a tent or any other structure check with the Parks Department http://www.pinellascounty.org/park/default.htm for that location or City Hall ahead of time.
Tip #8: Check with your florist early or the day before.
Tip #9: Check with your hairdresser or any other assistant early or the day before.
Tip #9 Check with your officiant early or the day before.
Tip #10 Check with your caterer early or the day before.
Tip #11 Check with your cake maker early or the day before.
Tip #12 We have witnessed many weddings in which the rental tuxes do not fit, such as pants, jackets, or shoes. Have your men get these items early enough to make any necessary last minute changes ahead of time.
